This kitchen design has what we call “true balance.” It reads masculine and feminine; it boasts warm tones and cool tones, and it showcases soft features and rigid features. Perimeter countertops are standard 1 1/4" with eased edges, and the 2.5" build-up countertop on the island, combined with wood dining section makes things really interesting. This balance is what a transitional kitchen shoots for.
